I’ve split this down again as it was getting unweildy and I think there is some more value I can add given some space. Feedback on the new formats welcome. Also, this way Garmin isn’t at the top all the time so it’s a little more fair to the others. In case nobody noticed the old style was always alphabetical order for fairness.
On the FCC Website we can now see the exterior of the Rival watch due for release this summer from Wahoo. I’ll be honest, it looks just like most modern GPS watches – a bit chunky but overall a nice watch. There are currently no pictures of fancy materials such as Garmin have added (Titanium etc.) but if these are popular Wahoo may add them later. I’ve posted some screenshots below for convenience. Thanks to reader Rick for the tip.
|Triathlon||Wahoo||ELEMNT Rival||https://fccid.io/PADWF119 shows this new device due by the end of May, possibly earlier. This will be Wahoo’s first GPS based fitness watch and is likely to be good if their other products are anything to go by. This is delayed but should still be coming!|
|Big||Wahoo||ELEMNT||Launched September 2015 and available March 2016 it’s possible we’ll see a replacement in 2018 but looking at the way Wahoo commit to their products 2019 seems more likely. Also, Wahoo would be likely to support this after a new device arrives so less risky than other manufacturers. The amber rating is purely based on not wanting to buy just before a release of a replacement.|
|Medium||Wahoo||ELEMNT Bolt||Launched and available March 2017 this is a new device and earliest expected replacement would be 2019.|
|Small||Wahoo||ELEMNT Mini||Launched and available August 2017 this is a new device and earliest expected replacement would be 2019.|
